Our story today
I live in Dallas, Texas with the love of my life (my husband David!) and our three kids - Easton, Noah and Navy. I started blogging and sharing our life on Instagram right around the time we got married. Our family quickly began growing after that and we started our business, Talulah! The story of how David and I met is so special to us and is what started it all.
I love to share openly about my family, motherhood, faith, fashion, beauty, and more. I’m so proud of the life David and I have built for ourselves, and I’m the first to tell young girls to NEVER settle and that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
But let me take you back to the beginning…
David & I Met
It all started when I traveled to Haiti to volunteer for an organization that David founded. We were just friends at first and I was actually dating someone else at the time!
We Started Dating
After some soul-searching, I returned back to Haiti. This time, David and I fell in love and we set off to travel the world while planning the next chapter of our life together.
We Got Engaged
David proposed, and of course our dog Winnie was right beside him when he popped the question!
We Got Married
Four months after getting engaged - we held our ceremony at a farm in my hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. We were surrounded by our family and friends!
Easton Was Born
Shortly after our wedding, we found out we were expecting a baby boy! On 4.18.18 we welcomed our son into the world, the start of our little family!
We Founded Talulah
Our online boutique literally started out of our garage, as a true labor of love.
Talulah Moved Into its First Warehouse
After “upgrading” from our garage to my parent’s living room, we finally took Talulah’s operations to a dedicated warehouse space.
Noah Was Born
Easton got a little sister on 10.8.19 when our first daughter entered the world! They are 17 months apart and kept us busy!
Navy Was Born
We knew it was time for another Nelson baby! Our youngest daughter arrived 12.12.22, officially making us a family of five!
