This is one of those recipes that you just HAVE to save!!! Million Dollar Spaghetti is the ultimate comfort meal and always a hit with our whole family. It’s cheesy, creamy, saucy and SO easy to throw together.
This also makes a ton, so it’s perfect if you’re feeding a crowd, want leftovers for the next day, or need an easy meal to bring to a friend!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef (I sometimes use 2lb!)
- About 2 jars marinara sauce (I use Rao’s!)
- 8 small slices butter
- 8 oz cottage cheese
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
HOW TO MAKE IT
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Start by cooking your spaghetti according to the package directions. While that’s cooking, brown your ground beef in a large skillet. Drain if needed, then add your marinara sauce and stir everything together.
In a separate bowl, combine the cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream until everything is mixed together.
Grab a 9×13 casserole dish and place your slices of butter along the bottom. Add half of your cooked spaghetti on top of the butter.
Spread a layer of the creamy cottage cheese mixture over the spaghetti, followed by a layer of your meat sauce. Add the remaining spaghetti and continue layering until you’ve used everything up!
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, sprinkle the shredded sharp cheddar cheese over the top and pop it back into the oven for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve it warm and ENJOY!!! Also a RULE that you have to eat it with garlic toast! 😂🍝🤍
NOTE:
You can totally use 2 lbs of ground beef if you want it extra heart! And Rao’s is always my go-to marinara, but your favorite sauce will work just fine.
